These guys called my home phone and then had my mobile number too. They hacked into my computer and took $1000. Do not let these guys into your computer. He had all of my details I thought they were from Telstra but then called Telstra and discovered it was a hacker

Have had a number of calls from thgis phone number. If the call is missed, no message is left. If I answer the call theree is silence and the cxall is then disconnected. Very annoying!!

Same thing happens. They call but after silence they just disconnect. Now when the number comes up I just lift the receiver and then hang up.

Scam still active

We have had 10 phone calls from this number so far in two day's. They are ringing every hour. I have rang telstra and they have put a tracer on our phone. The man's name is david and I even tried to ring him back but his message bank seems to full ( well I wonder why). Have had a gut full as it started yesterday afternoon and hasn't stopped!!!!!

Reported to scam watch twice in last two months, but nothing being done about it as yet. How long doe sit take to shut down these phone numbers. I blew a whistle down the line this time, I heard a yell on the other side - hoping that might dissuade them.

So over these calls. A few different numbers they come up as and borderline harassment some days with 3-4 calls in the space of an hour or so. This one was 5 calls over the course of about 4 hours on Saturday. Varied between hanging up on our machine, hanging up if I picked up the call or just dead air. My partner picked up one of the later calls and gave a few choice words. He actually got a response back with the same choice words.

Scam. Rang twice in one day. Claimed to be from Telstra technical department following up on our internet issues. Problem is, we don't actually have our internet through Telstra,

The calls just keep coming, automatically diverted to spammer answering machine as fast as they come in but these people just won't give up.

Second call from them today... screaming and swearing can pay off... they hung up quickly. Will keep screaming and swearing til they stop!

So they rang and proceeded to tell me my internet would be cut off, we'll go ahead I don't have a internet connection at home 👍 To which then screamed at me that I'm a son of a bitch 😂 Haha I can't wait for round two with these guys 😂😂

Had this number call me only 5 minutes ago tired to tell me he was from Telstra technical support. Told me that our gateway was compromised ended up hanging up with him and then he rang again managed to get a false employee number off him and told him that it is pretty funny that he was talking about our gateway being compromised when the bloody thing isn't on.

Rang me & hung up. I rang back 4 times & they hung up before answering.

Rang again today. Tried calling back & got diverted to Telstra's message bank 101 service which was full & was informed that number was busy.

Yes, that same number rings every day around the same time. Tell them I don't have a computer then hang up. Then they usually ring back and hang up in my ear. The funny thing is, I have a silent number that I pay telstra extra for but some how I am still getting nuisance calls. Reported it to Telsra but nothing has changed.

Just called me tonight! Started telling me something about my telstra internet and my computer, told her I didn't have a computer and she hung up on me...lol.lol.lol

Rang at 10pm claiming they were from Telstra technical support, telling me I was about to lose my internet connection for 15 days unless I followed their instructions. threats on the message with a foreign sounding male voice regarding "tax evasion" !!!!!!!! CHOP THEM OFF!

Just had a call from this number saying he was "David from Telstra" and that my IP had been hacked and was I aware of this? I told him I was. I told him I was the hacker and could he please stay on the line for a few more seconds and not touch his mouse. He hung up.

Same as above. Claimed to be from Telstra regretting to inform me that my internet would be disconnected in two hours time due to issues with my computer. They could fix it of course... Definitely a scam, likely hoping that by having a number show up and a message supposedly linked to a telstra 101 service that people will fall for it.
