Caller: Supposedly from Centrelink Supposedly from Centrelink saying they have sent me details of back payments through the mail and have received no reply. The automated message goes on to give a case reference number and thats when my answering machine stops recording as it is quite a long message and obviously a scam as I do not have any contact with Centrelink

Definitely a scam, as my supposed case number is 080456, and no file for two separate people would be the same

Same message as outlined in other comments here. I have nothing to do with Centrelink so know it is definitely a scam. Blocking number.

Caller: Supposedly from Centrelink Recorded message purporting to be from Centrelink, regarding back payments, application forms and non return of same. Reference number 080456 (same as someone on one of the other comments). Centrelink don't phone especially with recorded messages - they contact using MyGov. Filthy scammer? Or is this a prank?

Recorded message starting with "You haven't responded to..." Always hang up on robo-calls! They're invariably scams.

Picked up the call and a robotic voice claimed that my tax file number was being suspended and a warrant for my arrest was being issue due to suspicious behaviour on my account. Clearly a scam.

Caller: Unknown recordingFemale recorded voice rang about letters and application forms not completed for back payments, pension increase. My application number was given as 080456. Caller said that as they hadn't received my correspondence my file was being forwarded to Canberra. This person is a load of sh*t and a @x!&%#@ and a message was left on their answer phone stating this!
