Just received a call from this number. Indian guy stated that from tomorrow, my service provider will be blocking all unwanted callers such as telemarketing, scam callers etc. I replied that his call was unwanted and asked him where he is from. He just kept repeating the same sentence. I advised him that he was an unwanted caller and hung up. Have blocked the number.

That's exactly what i also got , someone advising they can stop scam calling and can block scam numbers, so i thought maybe they had a new system . The lady then advised that she can stop the scam call, but i would have to provide a credit card number as this is my ID for blocking, and she would need the 3 digit number on the back ???? After she asked that , i told her that is a scam itself and hanged up, this number has non-stopped calling ever since .

look out, this number called me saying they would block all scammers calling my number. I was like "So you are scamming me with a scam, pretty clever bu no thanks"

Caller: (02) 6387 4693claimed to be able to block scammer calls, a scam within a scam. If it wasnt so annoying i'd say it was inception.

Woman called today saying she was from telstra and as my bill was on autopay, she wanted details to confirm my card expiry date. She was very insistant but had some of my details wrong and couldn't even tell me my suburb.

Called from this number 5 times in the last 2 days. Nobody on the end of the call so I have blocked the number on my phone.

Same as others. Persistent spammer. Just block them.

Idiots claiming to be from Telstra. Low IQ silly time wasters!

I've had the same experience from same phone number - phone rings, nobody there then they hang up. Today I checked on this site, and discovered not the only one receiving calls from this number, have blocked.

Caller: Claimed they can block numbers on your landlineScam of course ... the first time I got a call I thought ok, maybe it's for real and someone has found out a way to block numbers on the landline. But then they wanted to know the expiry date on my credit card - gave them that, since it's harmless info. Next they said my card number was my ID for the blocking. LOL! So of course I realised it was a scam, gave them an earful and hung up

They have called my mobile 9 times in about 2 hours. I won’t answer them.

Say they are from please don't call register now.Busy indian call centre. Reckon they want to stop mutant calls.Asking leading questions like how I pay my phone bill,etc. Finally gets around to the credit card details. Called him a smelly,curry munching polio affected snake charmer,and told him to f*ck off.Blocked number from calling and texting.

Rings both mobile and home number at the same time we have been getting it all day today. Why can't we fix these scammers. Try to ring back and it is a busy signal. Description is from Lyndhurst near Orange/Bathurst area.

This afternoon I answered and said hello, yes I got the spiel about blocking nuisance calls, and wanted expiry on credit card, almost fell for it as it's about to expire, Lots of background noise from the call centre and my kids so I continually said I could hear what was being said, no not fluent English. So I hung up, he tried again another 3 times, I chose not to answer.. Time wasters

Caller: Some Indian.Wanted to give me an Australian Government Subscription for my landline (I live in an isolated rural area with satellite only link to civilisation). When I asked him what the weather was like in Mumbai today, he hung up.
