Any number with this prefix seems be a be a nuisance call.

The caller ID on my phone displayed it as an "overseas number". However, when the call connected to my messagebank and hung up, it was recorded as this Victorian number. What is Telstra doing about this mess?

19/6/19 @ 10:16 WST while driving I rang back and heard a message that the number is not in service

How stupid are these people now i dont have a voice on my message bank so all they hear would be a beeping sound but yet these idiots still stay on the call saying hello hello they dont say why they are calling and dont leave a return number so you call the number back to be corteyous and wouldn't you know it the operator message say's the number is not connected typical scum bag oxygen thieves

Caller: Australian children’s foundation?Mildly robotic Australian lady called advising from the Australian children’s foundation helping children recover from abuse, I advised them that I was in a meeting and could I call back - sounded like a Skype call- the lady just said “no”. And then tried to keep to talking. I said if I couldn’t call back then I wasn’t interested and she said she would try and call back another time. Definitely a scam I reckon.
