I got that text too today. Glad I am not the only one, and all previous posts assured me my intuition was correct SCAM!!

This is a scam.

As others state. Mr. Giles, bank of montreal. 12.5mill Slightly tempted to tell him to send me $50 and keep the rest for buying a real email account. These banks that use Gmail, sheesh! As bad as real emails and account names sold by Westpac employees for phishing. or to ask him, relative huh? what's MY name? but... of course it's best to ignore.

Same text about Mr Gillies from BMO relative left me inheritance but mine was only 9.8m you lot are lucky😂
