Some text message about Amazon MacBook order wanting me to call a 1800 number. Did not order anything. Sounds Phishy!

Caller: 0421 453 920Got a text saying that I had a parcel with a damaged label and if I paid $3 it could be delivered. Used my name, showed a photo of the damaged label and parcel and used a virtual assistant named Suzi to go through the payment etc.

Used my first name, said order delayed due to damaged label and click here!! What order?! SCAM.

Scam, advised there was a parcel waiting for me at the depot and to pay $3 for customs charge. I have not ordered anything from overseas.

I got text message with link to fake ups website to pay parcel delivery fee. Warning! if you ever use a credit card to buy stuff online but the order never arrived. the best action is to call your card provider to get a new card. because your card has been compromised.
