They are calling me in regards to an Agl account and I've never felt with Agl Time to start blocking numbers

I blame ACCC for them getting away with the harrassing , ACCC should be held accountable

Wow this is happening to me also. Glad I'm not the only one. They keep telling me I have an outstanding AGL bill. Haven't been with AGL for more years than I can remember. They ring really early in the morn or late at night, was going to pay to get this over with but having read these blogs think I'll just stop answering unknown numbers. Just answered my partners phone and they asked for him, I told them they have the wrong number and the woman got aggressive saying they have talked to him before and I told them again they have the wrong number and she still asked me to take a message, it's over some agl crap that we have never even had.. We have always been with origin, there is no possible way we could owe money to another Company because I've always been with origin..

They have called me trying to collect money for telstra account from 2009 to 2012. Left the residence in 2009!! Account was closed when I left. Told them to send bills. They did and there was no breakdown just amounts. I said account was disconnected and asked for more info so they advised they will get back to me after they talk to Telstra lol. Just got missed call now and after reading these comments i will ignore or yell at them for harassment!!!!! How do they get bills and invoices from companies btw??! Granted the bills were not in mych detail at all.

If the debt is over 6 years and there is no judgment or you have not acknowledged you owe the money in writing, or made payments in the past 6 years, then they CANNOT pursue you for the debt as it is statute barred. If they are then you can contact the ACCC, ASIC and Office of Fair Trading and press a complaint. A couple major collection agencies were punished over this a couple years back, just check out Google and you can read all about it.

Been harassed almost every day (sometimes a couple of times in one day) by Panthera Finance. Apparently I owe over $500 on a Tru Energy bill that I had moved from the residence when they are saying I owed the electricity. I DID cancel my Energy bill but the lady is saying need to send this cancellation form through...as this was over five years ago I have no idea what has become of this cancellation form!? She said I must set up a payment plan immediately or she is going to read me the collection process. I politely told her sorry that I am a nuisance but I don't owe any money and have no way of finding this old form and said I'm going to hang up now and did. I will just have to keep answering unknown numbers cringing every time :(

I got a notification on Veda that panther funance states I owe AGL an amount of $3300. I got shock of my life. I called them to get info and aparantly its for a bill going back to 2007. I cant remember any bill. I have been with origin then lumo for many years now. I contacted AGL who dont have a record on file. I contacted panther again who can only send me a copy of a demand letter to pay this amount a year ago which went to a very old address. I now am getting harrassed every day and very diaturbed. They are very rude. Iv had enough of them. I decided to research on them to find out not so good info. Thans to this site I will ignore as much as I can.
