called from 0485 815 485 asking if I was happy with my private health insurance. When I asked for their co name told me Aussie Protect. I said I didn't want whatever it was they are selling. Female stated their service was free and 'don't you want to see if I can save you money on your private health insurance'.

Caller: Aussie protect They never leave me alone new number every time , call late at night on weekends no respect, they have to be a scam even proper call centres aren’t as low as this and don’t keep changing their numbers, that says dodgy straight away

Caller: Say they are called Aussie Protect This call comes through from a person identifying themselves as Aussie Protect - they were demanding to know if we had health insurance. I said this call is completely unsolicited and refused to speak to them. Definitely harassment using various methods and numbers.

same phone number rang my wife and when she answered it did nothing so she hung up. I rang them and it said to email to stop. sounds like a scam or similar.

Best idea don’t answer unknown numbers. Genuine people will leave a message or contact you some way other way!

Suss number-I answered said hello 3 times no reply they hung up. I called back to a message recording from "aussie protect" in recording it said to opt out of marketing email optout @ aussieprotect.com.au with phone number in subject line I did this only for the email to bounce back.

Ring me asking if I had life insurance etc quickly blocked the number

Caller: Aussie ProtectThe way to get back at them is to keep calling them! As soon as the phone rings, create a conference call and add as many times as you can! They were baffled as to why they were talking to each other - and the bedt part, you get them talking using their REAL NAMES!! It lasted about 20 minutes until they disconnected all their numbers and went into lockout! This is not only fun, but they will think twice about calling again if you let them know you will keep doing it unless they stop
