I got a call, I answered it. It was some Asian lady claiming to be essential energy. She knew my first name, asked if that's who I was. They had a bad line, I could barely hear her. The line went dead after she said it was about a overdue bill. Got called twice now, but I blocked them after the second call.

As I am not connected to Energy Australia for any services and they had the wrong name, I laughed and hung up.

by Anonymous on 2025-03-10Number has called twice in two days. Missed first call and no voice mail was left. Answered send call, connection was poor and kept dropping out. Caller said they were from Energy Australia, had a Chinese accent, knew my first name and said they need to go through security questions. Hung up and blocked the number.
