Would not pull in & stay a night dirty toilets grounds aren,t been looked after seen Craig & Nicki left 20/7/2012 .Lyn Higgins new caretaker is very rude & foul mouthed .

About Michelle caravan park Homehill QLD 158 eighth Ave . While owned by the Tencza & now being run by Lyn Higgins The place needs money spent on the toilets & grounds . The toilets have been getting a lick & spit 10 mins at the most , you are a risk of serious Hygiene illness . The shop is a joke with mice through out the shop .The main House with bird lice ,rats,& mice in the ceiling . The 3 donga,s along the back row with rusted roofs & water entering the donga,s at $220.00 per week single & park your car out side the grounds ( on the BRUCE Highway ) a Joke . 2 self contained cabins at front of park right on the Bruce highway with trucks & trains passing all day & night & sound no barrier is a joke . While staying in 1 self contained cabins at $105 per night my wife & i . We found the coffee was in fact dated may/2010 a joke . When getting your gas bottles filled there you wont get a full bottle as the person doing refills is not trained to fill gas bottles . A double person powered site over nite at $28 plus & set to rinse again soon a joke . Best regards

Good clean caravan park prices are reasonable Merie and Russel are a friendly couple toilets clean and tidy as are the grounds,no hesitation in stay again regards

I think I am being very generous by giving this place any stars at all. My partner and I rented a cabin - $80.00 a night cash in hand and no receipt!! - and was absolutely disgusted with the filth of the place. The verandah on their house was full of birds so there was bird poo and feathers and seed everywhere (a nice place for rats and mice to live) There were no plates or bowls or toilet paper when we arrived and when I asked for some they gave us 2 bowls and 2 plates with dried caked on food all over them. There were signs up asking that we wash and dry any dishes we use which is fine except when we picked up the teatowel about 14 layers of dust fell off it. The only appliances in the cabin was a jug and a microwave. It was an absolute disgrace and I certainly would not be recommending this place to anyone.
