Dear Sir/Madam I am writing to you on behalf of a young girls soccer team which over the last four years has gone from Division 7 to Division 1. This team of girls have tackled many hurdles and the players come from many different backgrounds. Although this team has always had wonderful parent support, this year many families are finding it hard to make ends meet. Soccer training for these girls has always been an important part of their lives - a chance to be with peers and not be judged, a chance to have goals and ambitions and to strive for more. The title on last years newspaper report read "Grit, Guts and Glory" and congratulated the team on winning the Division 2 Premiership. As coach of this wonderful team I am very proud of each and everyone of these girls and their commitment. I would like nothing more than to see them continue in sport and achieve their individual goals, but alas I find us in a spot where we need to ask the community to show their generosity and support so that these girls get that opportunity. If your business could assist us by donating goods/services that the team may raffle to raise money would be more appreciated than you could realise.
