In my 64 years, probably sixty of which I could answer the phone politely, I have never had as much trouble with crap calls as in the last five years here in Australia. The phone company has to put in a simple caller ID check... if the phone call is not coming from the number that its digital header is coded with, the call does not go through. Simple. But wait, that would eliminate millions of bogus phone calls that the phone company gets to charge someone for. Go figure.

Block them imminently.. I called back the number (08) 8448 0665 and the lady on the other line said I reached a conference switchboard in Sydney
