Rang twice today. Second time was 7.30pm. No business rings that late. Scam. Blocked.

This number keeps calling me every day for the last week and then hangs up when I answer. I will be blocking from now on.

I received a call on my mobile (unlisted) which indicated that it was from McNair Surveys. Checking their website SA numbers listed in that range are from (08) 8456 9303 to (08) 8456 9309; the caller's number is not included.

Caller: McNair Yellow SquaresIt's a genuine market research company, probably still doing their survey about the health of South Australians, which I participated in a few weeks back. I looked up the number because my daughter has had some calls from this number, which appears on their website (along with many other phone numbers they use), on the "Current Research Projects" page. Be warned : They told me it would take 20 minutes to complete the survey questions, but it took longer, maybe closer to 30 minutes. It was OK though ; lots of "On a scale of 1 to 5 (or 1 to 10) ..." type questions.

They've been calling me every day for the past week. This is harassment. I blocked the number but they leave voice messages because to them appears that I'm answering the phone. A lady (name sounded similar to Mowry) said she was from "South Australian Preparation Health Survey" whatever that means. Why are they so desperate?

Repeatedly calls at all hours. I refused to answer & finally BLOCKED!! A voice message is never left but they do increase their pestering efforts & patterns-both in numbers of times they'll call in 1 day (inc extremely inappropriate late night hrs) to obsessively calling every day-for weeks!! Completely ridiculous, blatent harassment but definitely sends out sinister red flags! Mentioned this to family & friends-turns out they've also been receiving & experiencing same problems during the same recent period as I have been! When some have called the number back, if using their phone (that's receiving the calls) the call automatically gets cut off within seconds of dialling. When calling using a different phone/number there has either been a dodgy, inaudible recorded message that cuts the call. OR the call connects, but there's total silence (time period varies) before a disconnect (hang up) occurs?!? Have been advised it's a SCAM!! BLOCK this number as soon as calls start! Legitimate 'Survey' Companies do NOT call @ inappropriate hours ranging from pre-dawn right through until way past midnight! Nor do they harass with such obsessively increasing persistence to only remain silent as soon as you do answer/speak-but trying to keep the line open as long as possible-ignoring the person they supposedly want to 'survey'!?! WATCH OUT!!

Caller: (08) 8456 9301 (McNair Surveys)The number called 2 weeks ago. I answered and a woman said "Hello" a few times before hanging up. Since then I have received numerous calls from this number pretending to be a South Australian telephone number. The name appears as "McNair Surveys". Be warned, once you answer a call from them you are added to their redial list and will be constantly pestered by robo phone calls at weird hours (day/night). Best recommendations if you are affected by this would be to block it immediately and make a complaint to your telephone service provider.

Two weeks later and they're still leaving voice messages (number is already blocked). This time a guy was on the phone and literally said "we'll try contacting you again in the next couple of days". Oh no you won't! I have contacted my service provider to file a complaint and have that number blocked properly. I suggest everyone else do the same. I have never experienced such persistence before.

Annoying buggers calling me for the third night in a row.
