Scam, they called me twice and hung up on me! BLOCKED

Caller: Indian scammerCall from (08) 9273 1100, it was an Indian scammer who said will save you 50% on any bill using gift cards. Stinky and shamefully.

Caller: scammerIndian call centre spruiking they will pay off any bill with 40-50% discount using gift cards. started swearing at me as seriously who would take them for real and I strung them out for over an hour. Suckers

Caller: (08) 9273 1100I answered and the Indian lady just spoke gibberish. I swear it wasn’t even Hindi or Punjab. I asked her ‘what did you say so she repeated the gibberish. Then I sai can your speak f*cking ENGLISH.

I had a missed call from this number, so I called it back and I got a recording saying “Optus advises that the number you have called has been disconnected”. Strange considering I called the number back five minutes after it called me. Most likely a scam. I have blocked this number.

Scam for sure. Just block them. If they can't leave a massage then it aint important hey

Male offering me 30% off my bills. I told him I am on the do not call register and he started talking over the top of me with his spiel. I waited for him to stop and then said that as I am on the do not call register that his call is illegal and I will be reporting him to the police and he hung on me.

Has anyone who received these calls recetly advertised on gumtree.com.au? I noticed last time I put an ad on there, I kept getting calls. I recently put some items on there and am getting the calls again. I wonder if that is how these people are gettting our numbers? No hate towards gumtree.com.au, it's a great platform for buying and selling without fees.

I didn't attend the call and there was no voice message as well. But I also put a gumtree ad yesterday FYI. Probably scammers use the phone numbers displayed there.

Yes I have posted an ad on Gumtree and since have been receiving such calls.!!

I wonder if other people getting calls from these numbers are listing on gumtree.com.au because each time I list on gumtree these calls start. When I have nothing on gumtree then I don't get these calls for weeks but the minute I post another item and allow my number to be shown on the ad, the calls start up again.

Gumtree ad uploaded yesterday and today I received 9 calls from 4 different numbers offering me 30% off my existing bills. This happens every time I list on Gumtree but stops when I have nothing listed.Two other people here have also mentioned Gumtree so I'd say that is where they are getting our numbers from.

This looks scam as they as you to pay your house rent 50% off, how come.
