They call my business everyday then when I answer they hang up. I've now blocked the number.

Rang and said they were maybe flying doctors or something similar and said to sponsor a teddy bear which would cost $74 don't have to pay till it arrives, my husband answered this cause and told he had to ask my wife and then said we've already donated, I said it's s scam

answered the phone, I said "Hello", and I could here breathing for several seconds then they hung up. Thats an escalation from annoying to creepy.

Don't know whether they're legit or not but I answered my phone and after some noise on the other end that sounded like someone adjusting their position, they hung up on me.

Caller: Charity Collection organisationI agree, PCYC is a decent group. However they are not the callers. They employ a charity collections organisation to call on their behalf - I presume the caller is paid a percentage of the takings.. They have called me using 08952 307 55, 08938 767 89, 08928 4947 22, 08945 144 94, 08934 324 56, 924 360 055, 08941 723 45 and 08935 546 10. Does that sound reasonable???

They dont give up pestering you for donations

I'm blocking numbers on a daily basis.. this is getting ridiculous!! I guess I understand why charities are exempt from the Do Not Call register BUT when you answer and they hang up on you OR don't leave messages OR keep hounding you even when you say you can't afford to donate, that's when it starts being frustrating and rude. This number is now being blocked on my mobile.. until next time.. *eye roll*

call 1300 265 162 and ask them to remove your number from their call list

PCYC is the police and citizens youth club. It's a legit charity and exempt from the do not call regulations. They are also a decent group, ask to be taken off the call list if you aren't going to donate.
