by Anonymous on 2015-07-27An Asian bloke called and said he was from some government agency at 5:45pm so I just hung up. All government agencies have my mob number if they want to talk to me. I expect it was a scammer.

by Anonymous on 2015-08-08Got a call from this number enquiring about whether I have solar panels installed. When I said no, they then went on about a Federal Government rebate available for Tasmania of $4000 for all new installations and tried to pressure me into having a consultant call to give a presentation and prepare a proposal. The company name given was "Green Survey" and when I asked about details of the company web site was told they don't have one!

by Anonymous on 2015-08-10I'm on Do Not Call Register, but they addressed me by the name of the number's previous owner, and they had that address on record too. (I played along to find out who it is). They said they were confirming that I was eligible for govt rebate on solar panels. They weren't keen to give me a company name, kept repeating their own name (supposedly), but I pretended to be interested until they gave me "Green Survey". They tried to make me agree to have a consultant come out to give me a free "no obligation" demonstration and were very insistent, even when I refused and asked that the consultant call me instead, they wanted to know why I wouldn't agree to have the consultant come to my house. They were very insistent and only gave up when I refused outright.
