by Anonymous on 2020-09-06Asked where they are calling from, she wouldn't answer, so hung up! and blocked
by Anonymous on 2020-09-07Called me today. She went on about this investment course. I told her I wasn’t interested and she said “I’ll send you the website link anyway.” Told her I didn’t have internet or mobile data at work and she asked when I’d be able to have internet access again. I said 6PM tomorrow. She said “ok, I’ll schedule you in for then.” We said our goodbyes, hung up and I immediately blocked the number.
by Anonymous on 2020-09-08Trying to sell an investment under the guise educational tool. Scam
by Anonymous on 2020-09-25Caller: Income Bright Carla With accent said calling from UK saying it’s educational investment. Very persistent even called me back when I said I had computer problems. Said one of my clients passed on my number but couldn’t pass on my clients name. Unsure who my client is, haha! I wasted 30 minutes of her time whilst I cooked dinner! Hopefully won’t call me again I’m too annoying for them haha
by Anonymous on 2020-09-29Caller: The same companyThis Filipino lady (with an American accent) based in the UK was representing a company that isn’t a brokerage company (as she liked to keep repeating) she was offering tools to be able to trade within the market. Kept asking me if I had access to the internet to go to this website. She knew my full name. I went along with it for a good 10mins. I told her I had a Nokia 5110 which had no access to the internet (to have a laugh at her expense) but I admitted to having an iPad but no internet and she was getting impatient with me, raising her voice, I could tell she was dodging my intentional digs. She asked me if she could call me back at a later date and I told her 20th October....2055 and she immediately said something along the lines of “this is bullsh*t” I will have you reported for insulting me. I told her I love playing games (earlier I said I only use my iPad for playing games) to which she said you can’t play games offline and I said actually you can. She was not having it. At this point she was getting soo angry and frustrated. I was asking her all these questions about where she found my name and number and more info about her company - she wouldn’t provide any information. My only wish was that I recorded the conversation. I instantly knew it was a scam. There were delays in her replies. She wouldn’t let me get a word in, she has that script memorised! Anywho was an entertaining phone call to say the least.
by Anonymous on 2020-10-01Usual rubbish call. Rings 5 times, hangs up, no message. Thanks for some of the messages here - good to know some of us are able to tag these people along and annoy them!
by Anonymous on 2020-10-17Caller: ShysterIncome Bright con from UK but probably using call centre from Manila. They also call from (03) 9109 6394 Bunch of idiots who hangs up on you the moment you are not interested or I just say repeat, can't hear you, speak louder, hah ......?
by Anonymous on 2020-11-18Caller: Income BrightThey keep calling at all hours, including weekends. No proper intros, just straight into some long rambling speech trying to get me to sign-up with a '30 day money back guarantee'. The number varies, but always has a Victoria dialling code, despite being a UK company. However, the caller is more Manila than Melbourne. You'd think they'd work on their script and presentation skills. It's up there with other notable offers like bitcoin, 2nd prize wins, and promised hot dates with random strangers.
by Anonymous on 2020-12-12they tried calling me tonight
by Anonymous on 2022-06-02The only problem with an intercepted number is when a paid job needs to be done and the customer is required to pay the call centre as well as the contractor together with a final cost over priced job for a lesser warranty period of time. If a mistake is made then guess what happens after the abuse is engaged. Did you root the baby? No, But the whole world says you did. Leave it to DNA and you can call an answer what you want.
by Anonymous on 2022-10-28Caller: (02) 7209 5942This is an investment scam trying to sell expert trader courses and high risk investments. Refer to Income Bright LTD Reg. No. 12575333. They are on the MoneySmart Australian government ban list. They are a one person company registered in the UK April 2020 under the name of Relvin Conrad DE GUZMAN, but the guy operates a call centre in SE Asia. SCAM!
