by Anonymous on 2021-07-12Caller: SuspiciousLikely a company collecting personal data as I’ve signed up for a few new programs and opt ins with my mobile and or simply my email of which the email has my phone number for 2FA and this can be seen by people who know codes and how to get into encrypted data that isn’t public. I suggest investing $ small amount to pay for a VPN for any device with internet and or for PC also as iOS is less vulnerable to hacks and malware and PC and Android are much more susceptible with Google play store having very different rules for what can be listed as an app. It’s why many make money apps or even chat apps aren’t on IOS its likely due to the rules they break and or won’t update their app to suit apples terms. A VPN is the first step to cloak your IP addresses that are specific for the network your on and using a VPN puts your network on another country’s or another location in your own country and that is the IP detected by anyone or anything. Your MAC address is different and is unique to your device. Still having your IP changed or Spoofed makes for obtaining the MAC address not as easy especially when the data if being sourced offshore. Learn what scam emails and phishing looks like and how people and organisations manage to do it and get away with it. I this day and age there are more scams than there ever was. Purely because the opportunity is high. With being behind a computer (be the best tech or the least techs person) you can still be found and there will be areas you have not covered or will show your not doing something you should or you are doing something you shouldn’t. Unless you don’t use the Internet or you use it without your own device in your name or on a sim in your name or account in your name or on a library card with your name it’s almost impossible to cloak yourself completely. Especially if you try to start now when you didn’t in the past. The only way in my mind would be chan he your name would be easier.. anyway stay alert people
