Called back, no one answered
by Anonymous on 2024-07-05I've had two calls from this number, and both have had my work-related information (following a data breach at my org). He hung up when I asked to speak to someone about how they got my details.
by Anonymous on 2024-08-23Seems to be a scam.
by Anonymous on 2024-08-30Caller: (02) 7252 2284Potential scam, person with English accent called unsolicited saying that there was a conference in the Sydney ICC hosted by Dell and I was invited, he abruptly ended the call when questioned about how they obtained my personal information. I had no business dealings with Dell in the past. Call was to my work number. My data was likely scraped from the web, and likely a scam or nuisance call. Reported.
by Anonymous on 2024-09-17Another a call from a man from Dell Technology asking if I wanted to attend some free catered webinar in Sydney to try out their tech?
by Anonymous on 2024-09-17Caller: Seems to be a scamI rang the number back, got a recording with US accent saying that I'd be transferred to someone, then she came back to say no-one is available. I'd say this is a scam.
by Anonymous on 2024-10-02No answer when I picked up. Blocked immediately. I only answer if the number is not identified by my phone as potential fraud. The usual pattern when I get these type of calls where they say nothing after I answer, is that I will get several more fraud calls over the next few days from unknown numbers. I'm doing well this week - only 2 or 3 per day. Very annoying.
by Anonymous on 2024-11-29Caller: Dell TechnologiesCaller seems to be of Indian origin trying to put up an Australian accent, says they are calling me form Dell Technologies trying to verify my identity. Never ever bought anything from Dell. As if I am going to fall for this stupid scam and verify my details to them. LOL
by Anonymous on 2024-06-21Potential scam asking me to confirm my email address. Said he was from Global IT and I thought it sounded like had an English accent.
by Anonymous on 2024-07-12Also a call from a british man from Dell Technology asking if I wanted to attend some free catered webinar to try out their tech?
