American accent from caller who ended the call when asked who he was representing. I called the number which had an automated answering service, again with an American accent, but I could not catch the “business” name and did not leave my name and number as requested.

annoying call, number appeared on my phone that was right next to me, it didn't ring and the message was waiting to download & time stamped was 53 minutes ago....how's that work. As I don't have data switched on my phone the messaging will hang in limbo forever, I reported the number as spam & blocked it

Caller: no name (sounded Filipino) saying to be from MBS and wanting to get an adviser to ring meYes sounded Filipino, from 'MBS' trying to see what investments I wanted, income growth or gold. They wanted to get one of their advisers to ring me I said send what they were offering by email and the cost, and I don't want the phone call. Yes very persistent caller and if they are trying to get people to invest overseas they would even be a far greater risk which I would never take on personally and perhaps nor should others. When your money is lost, what recourse is there and how do you research these overseas shares? GT (retired financial planning principal)
