I got the message blips, and checked the number here before I tried to call them back. So yeah, there's still someone out there using this number to try and do something scammy.

"Olivia" from the Commonwealth Bank has called me 3 times in the last week from different numbers, I don't bank Commonwealth and the Commonwealth Bank do NOT have recorded messages ........ SCAM!

When answered there’s a silent wait and a robotic voice saying “Hi , Oliver from comm bank , we are calling because suspicious amount of 18000 “. I didn’t hear the rest just hung up. Don’t be fooled the bank will never call randomly and talk about suspicious activity without getting your information. But scammers are getting better with scamming. So please hang up and call the bank to be sure it’s the bank calling

When I answered there was a delay, then a male caller (with an Indian accent) told me he was from the security department of Visa and Mastercard and there had been some suspicious international transactions on my card. I told him that it was all OK and he hung up abruptly. It was a scam call.
