They have rung 20 times today all the same message as above. Frustrating
by Anonymous on 2017-02-17Automated voice telling the answering machine that says even if you are on a DNC listing you have incorrect tax filings and have a warrant for your arrest. Twice in on day two different types of messages saying the same thing asking me to call back on this number. (03) 8375 8473

Our letters sent to your registered address have also returned unsigned and undelivered resulting in a partitioned note to be filed against your name including a warrant for your arrest. Now before the case is sent for execution and you receive a note for court, please contact our hotline (03) 8375 8473. This is a really awful phone call and very upsetting if you don't realise it's spam, first time we got it we were on holidays and thought it was the real deal.

by Anonymous on 2017-02-20I got 3 missed calls from this number. When I called someone actually picked up and said they were the Australian Tax Office. They acted all confused and said that they don't send calls just letters. I just hung up and googled the number and found this site.
by Anonymous on 2017-02-20Same as above but when I called a guy with an indian accent answered and said 'ATO' I asked him if he was from the ATO he repied yes, I asked what does ATO stand for? He hung up.

by Anonymous on 2017-02-20Indian caller left message on my voicemail saying ' As part of our recent audit we have identified incorrect or no tax filings and we regret to inform you that your account has been marked deliquent'. Well know scam, heard it before, no evidence or proof to confirm their claim. Interestingly this phone line was previously (15 years ago) registered to someone else. Regularly Indian scammers call this number asking for that person. Clearly they think they are talking to someone else & are just trying it on

by Anonymous on 2017-02-21I keep getting this friggin message too. I know it's a scam, because I do my tax returns with an accountant, and any issues would be brought to her attention. i also have never received any Registered mail from this pranksters.
by Anonymous on 2017-02-22On the 15th Feb same recorded message left. Pay no attention to it. The words the recorded messages uses are words that we here in Aust do not use. I know as I'm in legal. I actually phoned the number back today as another message was left and now a further recorded message "this number is disconnected due to fraudulent activity".

With the number display phone I did not recognised the callers number so let 101 take it. I was surprised that the robot left a message. Same tax deal as above.
