Caller: Health Spotter Sienna Lawson in Robina QLD called.. asking if I’d like a free comparison on my Private health insurance. She rang and put me through to an Iselect Insurance broker who introduced himself as Steven Martin. Asked how much I’m paying for my Gold hospital cover and when I said how much and it was a Silver hospital policy not Gold he said stay with what I’ve got and said goodbye and hung up! Very Very unusual behaviour! I rang the Health spotter number and get voice mail. I certainly hope this wasn’t a scam call! I should be more careful! Don’t trust anyone!

Caller: Brady from Health SpotterBy calling me, Brady ignored my entry on the DO Not Call Register and therefore broke federal law. Asked me what health insurance I had - I replied that it was none of his flaming business (or less polite words to that effect) and then hung up.

Caller: Health SpotterHealth Spotter keep phoning from this number and others wanting to do a Health Insurance comparison. When I tell them they've called me at work and it's not a convenient time they become extremely pushy and ask a lot of personal questions and tell me I am required to stay on the line as I entered a gift card competition and one of the terms and conditions was that I stay on the line and talk to them when they call. I won't be taking anymore calls. I've asked numerous times to be removed from their database.

Caller: Health SpotterRude caller kept interrupting me when I tried to explain I didn’t want a health fund comparison and hung up when I asked him to stop interrupting. The only info I can find about them is a series of complaints about their telesales methods. If they think they can succeed with rude salespeople who are clearly untrained they’ll be yesterday’s news before long. In the meantime, you can ignore the calls.

I cant believe that I gave them my details... the person I spoke with was very convincing. I havent received any confirmation of any health insurance change or update. I think they may be involved in identity theft? Not sure. Am changing medicare and other details ASAP

Health spotter is a legitimate company. They are based in Robina. suite 10 & 11 riverwalk place, 238 Robina town centre drive, Robina QLD 4227. They supply the company health insurance comparison EOIs. Very effective way to direct customers to compare.
