just chatter in background, didnt talk, just a nut job

this number came up aas a missed call and similar toone I know but said message bank was full.

A guy called and introduced himself as Adam. He wants to talk to my boss and then tells him to shut up.

"Offshore Ideas" - Some guy using an English name but is clearly Phillipino accent. He knew my name, but whatever he was selling I wasn't interested in. Instantly hung up.

Asking for investment money to bring Indian elephants to Australia for fun rides on Point Cook Indian beach.

Caller: "Lisa" - Asian accentWoman calls herself Lisa, has an Asian accent. Asked to speak with owner of business by name, and when told he's out of the country, says she'll call back another time. Pffft

Spam call.

They left a voice message of background noise as the phone number they called is a voip number that I have not used for around 13 years which goes to a voice mail box and emails me, it seemed to sound like a Philippines contact centre, but voices were too faint to tell for sure.

I did not recognise number so did not answer and they didn't leave a message, so assumed it’s not important. I checked here and found great information, thank you everybody and now I know who called me, and will now block

Caller: Rude Pricksomeone with an accent called, asking to speak to (now previous owner) of the company. i asked what the call was in regards to, the caller asked to speak to to said person. when i repeated the question what the call was in regards to, they hung up.

Spam call. No message left. Called back and it said: 'You have called a private number and this message box is full'.

Caller: Offshore IdeasCompany called "Offshore Ideas" has now rung 3 times. The guy (who says his name is David) had a Northern English accent and tried to obtain my email address to send more information. I refused to give it and told him I was on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER but is did not deter him from ringing me back 3 times. I asked to speak to his supervisor BUT he refused... clearly this is a SCAM and is reported under the CALLER ID of 0400 548 723 on the reverseaustralia website (some say it is from Hong Kong, some say it is from India). This guy insisted that he was in SYDNEY... he was definitely in a call centre as I could hear other voices in the background. He did say he was selling "Stocks and Shares". Other share market scams have originated from the Phillipines! p.s. also received 2 ring calls that hung up from "private number" (using *10#). ONE call in the middle of the night! The Australian government needs to FORCE telco's to introduce "extended caller ID" with greater security and can't be "spoofed" as in the USA. Also mobile phone providers need to provide call screen FREE OF CHARGE (as in the USA) and stop this B.S.

called today and said to be from telemarketing company and demanding wanting to speak to the person. Get a life you scammer

Caller: some d*ck facejust when these people call, try sell them their own idea back to them... they have an investment oppurtunity - so say, oh youve heard about my investment scheme, how much would you like to invest etc lol

Scam. Called 3 times in a day no message left. When you call back it’s straight to voicemail which is full. Blocked number.

Scam call trying to sell investments. I usually don't answer unknown calls but was expecting a call from someone else so I did. Was concerning that they also knew my name and email address.

Caller ID displayed number as 042700019. Audible background noise and chatter then caller hangs up ... with annoying frequency. Please stop.
