received SMS from 0438 366 957: "Do not share this code with anyone, even NAB. Your verification code is 222xxx to add your NAB card ending 3117 to Apple Pay. Not you? Call NAB". I don't NAB or that card number. Likely a scammer.

I just got a message 'Your replacement card ending XXX has been ordered and will be sent in priority mail. Your reference number is XX XXXXXX Thanks, NAB' The carding ending number was not valid so ignored. Suspect fraud/scammers.

Got this text today- had my name and 4 actual numbers where the stars are which are the actual last 4 digits (scary!)- (Name), please reply YES to consent to receive your NAB Debit Card for the account number ending in ****. Thanks, NAB Reported and deleted it and sent a screenshot to NAB fraud 0476 220 003

Caller: Some Automated ScumbaggerScam call claiming to be from NAB. If you get this, suggest follow this NAB link https://www.nab.com.au/about-us/security/fraud-scams which suggests forwarding the SMS to them at 0476 220 003 . That's what I did.

Both my wife and I simultaneously received the following SMS message: "Hi, your NAB banking data access by Frollo Rollo was shared. If you have a joint account, the other account holder(s) may have shared this access. If you aren't aware of this data sharing or amendment, please contact us urgently on 13 22 65, Thanks NAB" We do not use Frollo Frollo for any of our NAB banking and called NAB scam/fraud on 13 22 65 and they were able to look at our accounts and no information has been shared by ourselves, although we do share one NAB account with our son. The Number that sent this SMS message was 0438 366 957, and based on the other comments posted about this number, it does appear that it is not an NAB number, and yet it asked us to contact NAB on their legitimate number 13 22 65. We were not asked to click on any link or to call back on the senders number, so there doesn't seem to be any direct link to NAB. Speaking with NAB staff, we were able to confirm our NAB accounts have not been compromised, so I cannot confirm the identity of the SMS sender

Card on file has now been disabled for card ending in ####. If you have any questions please contact Kogan. Sent 7 copies of same msg in one SMS message followed by a 2nd SMS with 5 x same message to make it look like multiple trying to get a sense of urgency. Scam!

Caller: NabI received 3 sessions with security codes from nab, as I needed to change my password and add my online banking to a new device, my devices have been hacked since 23rd of march last year and they are script writers and can change anything on your device, they stopped me from receiving security codes all together on some of my apps and accounts after them changing the passwords, so I couldn't change it back or change it at all.. BE CAREFUL GUYS, THESE ARE BIG TIME HACKERS AND FRAUDULENT NUMBERS,

Caller: NABSMS stating that a third party access had been granted for an account. This has been ongoing today it was NAB the other day it was a chemist, they are using another person’s name but directing the scams to my number. This has been reported to scam watch. This is an on mass campaign so be careful. Please report if you have received comms from these people!

Received the following text this morning. "HI XXXXXXX. We'll be contacting you to do a home loan check-in. One of our Bankers will be in touch over the next few days. Thanks, NAB." It was then followed by a call from someone alleging to be from NAB, in Sydney, but came through on a VIC number (03) 8903 5907. I deferred and sent all details to the Phishing email address at NAB.

I got 2 of these this morning - I went into NAB and the guy said it’s likely a scam as theirs come through as NAB not a normal mobile number

Caller: 0438 366 957This number is a scam. My elderly father fortunately was unable to access the code so did not provide it. He doesn’t understand or use sms. The scammer was very persistent and provided a pack of lies as the reason for the call, claiming to be NAB.. BLOCK the number. Unscrupulous caller hoping to trick elderly and vulnerable is an absolute disgrace. Shame on telcos that numbers cannot be traced.

Caller: SMS messageWanting me to log into my NAB app to check on a letter regarding my account . I blocked and deleted my Manager either rings or they come via email . Too many scams out there .Also had one from ANZ ( have no account there )

Caller: NABGot a text message from this number "your NAB secret code for your online purchase is..." when I was making a legitimate purchase online with my NAB Visa Debit card. Looks like this a legit security thing done by Visa.

Got a call on the landline from a scammer (his No. (02) 8005 5938) claiming to be from NAB, saying my card had been used for $13k which they had blocked, he sent SMS from 0438 366 957 with NAB verification codes which I refused to give him (they were all to authorise "your on-line purchase" - not decline). He knew my full name, address & last 4 digits of my card (and presumably the other numbers if he was making transactions on it.) He threatened that he would allow the $13k through and it would be declined and my credit rating would suffer. He hung up. I contacted NAB - yes it is a SCAM. I am getting a new card issued.

I received a SMS with the message, "Your card ending in xxxx has been successfully added to your Paypal account. You can now use it whenever you see the Paypal checkout logo. If you didn't add this card to your Paypal account, please contact NAB immediately. Thanks NAB." It was the correct 4 digits of my NAB credit card but I hadn't added it to my Paypal account. I was however, expecting to receive a NAB Visa card shortly with an updated expiry date. I then logged into my Paypal account and found that my credit card expiry date had been updated. I phoned NAB who said it could be a scam and would issue me with a new credit card.

I don't know about this specific #, but when I purchased on the internet I receive this "your NAB secret code for the online purchase..." and I needed this code to finish. I called NAB, and they said that when "Visa company" identifies a purchase and they are not sure about the website, they send this text. so the process is valid, I still expect NAB or VISA to officially say that this specific phone number is valid. (I forgot to ask)
