Caller: SuncorpI asked them to remove me from their marketing database. Hopefully no more calls.
by Anonymous on 2022-05-04Caller: SuncorpThey are calling anyone who has an outstanding balance of $1,000 or more on their Suncorp credit card, regardless of how they choose to pay it off. It makes no sense to sign up to an instalment plan and pay interest when I already pay off the entire balance before the interest free period expires every month. It would be nice if they used smarter criteria. It feels like they are preying on people with a poor understanding of credit cards.
by Anonymous on 2022-05-23Caller: SuncorpReally annoying - I don't have a single account with Suncorp! I have blocked the number!
by Anonymous on 2022-08-26I received the same call everyone else is reporting (Filipino accent, stating they're calling from National Australia Bank on behalf of Suncorp). They knew my first and last name and the type of credit card I had, however when they asked me to verify my suburb, I shut down the conversation and said I wasn't comfortable divulging that information on a cold call. I think they've heard this plenty of times before because she didn't fight me on it and said if I had any queries regarding my card to call Suncorp on *whatever number she rattled off" and we went our own ways. So I believe it was legit, just not an ideal way to approach their customers.
by Anonymous on 2022-12-07Legit but annoying have blocked the number

by Anonymous on 2023-02-22Caller: Supposedly suncorpHe asked first if his number is displayed on my phone. Very bad connection, American accent . Wanted to discuss credit card. I said “ no” and hung up.
by Anonymous on 2023-05-17No dealings with Suncorp. No message left. Persistent calls blocked.
by Anonymous on 2023-06-14Caller: SuncorpClaimed to be Suncorp, left a voicemail. I do happen to bank with Suncorp but I have so many missed calls from this number and I don't have a credit card, so I know it's a scam. I'm blocking the number.
by Anonymous on 2023-08-25Caller: Apparently SuncorpSome crap about Suncorp offer.
by Anonymous on 2024-04-16Caller: SuncorpCall from (02) 9296 5697. Three times in one week. They do not speak at all and always hang up after 10 seconds. Frustrating as yes I have a cc with them but the do not speak… fools
by Anonymous on 2024-09-26Caller: Claims to be "Suncorp"Claims to be "Suncorp", cold calling about credit cards
by Anonymous on 2021-10-07Claims to be NAB with offers of credit card deals
by Anonymous on 2022-06-28The guy rang and he knows my name. Honestly, I don’t like this marketing method used by Suncorp if that’s the case. I brings worries and that’s not healthy feeling, as increased scammers online these days.
by Anonymous on 2023-05-12Caller: SuncorpThanks for the input. Thought it was another bank scam! 🤙🏾
by Anonymous on 2023-09-14calls come from this number all the time so i have blocked and dont answer
by Anonymous on 2022-09-05Caller claims to be Suncorp calling about credit card knew my first name. When pressed on who they were they said they were calling on behalf of Suncorp and about credit cards rates. When I said they were a scammer they said check the 13 number but I said the number they called from was a Sydney number and Suncorp is Brisbane headquarter. Told them I would be reporting the call to authorities, then hung up.
by Anonymous on 2021-10-12Caller: Claims to be suncorpSaid they could set up a payment plan. I asked "for what?" I said we have a CC that we pay off monthly. It was very hard to hear or understand him. Don't know if it was legit or not but seemed suspicious to me.
by Anonymous on 2021-11-01Caller: SuncorpIt's legit, but annoying. 1. I used to work for Suncorp, so can confirm it's legit. 2. Annoying because, if you have a "high'ish" credit card balance, they call you to 'help'. Even though you don't need it and all is under control. It's an automated process that Suncorp has and the outbound team in Manilla have to call to try to help you make payments/ bring this balance down. You can't call them back because it's a Suncorp dialler (machine) that calls you. It's not a traditional call centre that it routes to. Hope this helps :)
