This number is a fraudulent company under investigation by the Australian Fedral Police they call them selves the 'Australian taxation office' beware do not participate in any communication with them.

Goy call from tehat number today, did not answer as am deaf, then got text from 0421 269 826 asking me to call shannel on 1800 770 900 asking me to call shannel and quote a refd number. Sent message back to "i deaf and dont know shannel, what she want" Alas, no response. So i googled the number and got this, and this is my report, hope it helps.

same story for me. text from 0421 268 374 saying "Call SHANEL on: 1800 770 900 Quote ref# 4852 0852 929" I called the 1800 number and was told all operators were busy and to leave a message. I didnt. Dodgy as.

Would not supply information, then txt me for a response.

The person ringing my number does not give time to answer , lets ring once or twice then leaves message to call Shanel with a reference number , The person rings everyday and leaves a quote reference number , the reference number changes everyday.

Just got a message from this number saying "This is a message for PAUL MEDIC. Call back now on 1800 770 900, quoting ref# 4852 1419 022" Weird.

This Shanel rings me every week, but sometimes i get messages as described by other posters. She says she is from Collection House and asks for my credit card number (which i don't have one) or to make payment arrangements to pay a debt (which i did have with AGL from 2008) but first of all the amount is grossly inflated and secondly it is subject to a bankruptcy order, which i have informed her, as AGL have previously been informed. i find it highly suspicious that they do not send an account and all contact is by phone only.

I got same sh*t here, called me by a hidden number, and sms from 3 different numbers 0427 019 463 0427 767 726 0421 269 826 I just igonored anyway.

I keep receiving smart ass text messages from 0427 019 463. I think it may be a debt collection agency as I remember telling one where to go a while back so now I think they send text messages to be annoying.

Just got a missed call and a voice mail saying .. This is a call for "My name" regarding a personal business matter. Please call 1800 770 900 and quote reference number 4852006xxxxx. So I called and the dial tone changed twice (presumably routed)???? and finally someone picked up and said .. Who's speaking? What business picks up the phone like that?
