This is the Wilderness Society. They ring and ring and ring and they have a couple of different numbers. If you don't answer they don't leave a message. When you answer they go into a speech about how they need money and blah blah blah and try to guilt you into giving them a monthly donation. "Couldn't you just afford even the small amount of $20 a month". If you still refuse they just hang up on you. They do it every year about June/July and keep calling until you answer.

by Anonymous on 1970-01-01I've had a number of missed calls from this number. Glad to know who it is that keeps ringing me. They have phoned both day and night!!! I'm going to ring them to tell them never to ring me again.

I answered after several missed calls from a similar number. It was the wilderness society wanting money. A donation every month. When i said I couldn't afford $30 a month she tried to guilt me into $20 a month. When i still wouldn't budge she just hung up on me. Pretty rude.
