by Anonymous on 2024-04-10Caller: Scam Caller Claimed to be from CommBank & told me someone had made a purchase on my card oin America to the tune of $1800. I played along. They asked me how many accounts I had with CommBank & my balance - I gave them a random number of $147,000. Three times she asked if I wanted to recover my $1800 she then directed me to turn my phone on speaker & go to the App Store to download an app. That’s as far as I got, couldn’t be bothered to play along further.

Then he said he was from Telstra and he was a computer repairman. I asked "well who are you, NBN or Telstra? He said Telstra. I told him Telstra is not my provider. He swore at me so I hung up on him.
