I also received call talking about reducing costs on next power bill. Says he was from a company called Australia Choice Power, government organisation. I asked him how he got my number he said he is calling form government organisation, I asked again how he got my number and he hung up.
by Anonymous on 2024-06-20The male Indian caller said he was from (muffed) company and he said Australian government was reducing the electricity prices and therefore my monthly electricity bill would be cheaper “ OK” he kept saying “ok” to get a “yes” out of me 🤔 and what my last bill was. I remember someone telling me that they want you to say “yes” a few times as this is a form of agreement. I quickly hung up.
