I’ve done some digging and looks like this person HAS in fact passed away recently (my condolences) but the SMS wanted me to click on a dodgy link to read the obituary. DO NOT CLICK THE LINK. This was the message received: Dear [name] - This is Suzie Lees' brother-inlaw Stu. I am sending this to all of her clients in case you have not heard yet. Sadly, Suzie passed away suddenly on the 30th due to a recently identified illness. by Anonymous on 2022-01-21This number belongs to a “virtual sms” company called “text magic”: https://www.textmagic.com/ They let you set up an account without verification of ID, to send messages. So, scams and real messages will come from this number. I set up a Text Magic account under a false name when I had an odd sms from the number, and sent myself an sms. It came from the same number as the odd message I had got! My guess is that replies to the number are directed to the account that sent the message to that particular number. So. Some messages will be scams, some will be real, and some will be sent in error to “wrong numbers”. Needless to say, I assume the company “sucks up” all numbers entered - I only entered mine as they seemed to already have it.

Caller: Text msg from JanetStating they have been driving instructors for 30 years and are not a marketing company, LOL. What do they think this text is? It's them marketing for instructors hahaha. They stated they are looking for instructors to do 5,8 and 12hr courses and they only take 20%. But "they're not marketing company". Gave email of emailonlinedrivingschools1 @ gmail.com They have just googled and found me as I am a driving instructor but not operating anymore. This is a fake company.
