by Anonymous on 2025-04-09Has all the hallmarks of an attempt to get some personal info from you, which maybe then gets collated with other info obtained from other places eg. Council records, various government services, titles office, social media etc. All then used or sold to others for eg identity theft, bank account details or whatever. Just block it completely.
by Anonymous on 2025-07-28Called me on 29/JUL/2025. I don't answer unknown numbers so call got diverted to voicemail. They didn't leave a voicemail - which makes me suspicious. Attempted to call the number back...but "unable to connect" - suspicions confirmed. Blocked the number pro-actively.

First said he was from Solar Victoria, when I told him nothing comes up and google he then said he was ringing on behalf of Clean Energy Council. When I asked why the phone number didn't show anything when I googled it he said the number gets automatically allocated by the internet. He was asking for my address so a solar panel expert could get in contact with me. When I asked him three times how he got my number because I was on the do not call list he hung up.

Tried to call it back from a work land line that has a blocked number, and got a recorded message saying the phone number is incomplete or incorrect. Definitely a scam.
