by Anonymous on 2022-07-26Caller: Indian maleInitial message said my Amazon was up for renewal and I wanted to cancel press 1. Pressed 1, Indian male spoke. He asked about my computer. I hung up. So tiring and frustrating and ongoing high number of phone and email scams.

by Anonymous on 2022-10-17Caller: "TelstraSomething about my internet. I dont have Telstra.
by Anonymous on 2022-11-29Caller: Indian PersonThe telcos can do something - but they are making money from these callers - little to no incentive to actually do something about it
by Anonymous on 2023-03-29I missed a scam hoax phone call from (08) 6186 7577 & they left a message saying press one for English and press two for Chinese so I blocked this phone number
by Anonymous on 2023-07-04Caller: An Indian lady from TelstraJust got off the phone from a lovely lady with thick Indian accent who kindly informed to me that my Telstra internet is being shared by others and has been hacked for illegal activities. She claimed from Telstra Melbourne, but the phone number seems from Perth... Obviously, she doesn't have the intellectual level to scam me...

by Anonymous on 2024-09-30Caller: ScammerWoman claimed to be from Telstra, saying I could get a 40% discount. I told her I am not a Telstra customer. She claimed it must be a technical glitch, then ended the call
by Anonymous on 2024-10-04Caller: ScammerRequesting I press 1 to speak to customer service regarding the cancellation of my Amazon Prime order.
by Anonymous on 2022-04-29Caller stated that he was Paul Smith from Telstra Headquarters, I laughed and said that Telstra don't have a headquarters and he called me all sorts of naughty names in a Indian/Pakistani accent. Such a rude man. Love it when you make them angry. I feel so much better now thank you.LOL On a serious note: I know that these scammers spoof phone numbers but I'd like to know why our Telcos can't back trace where these numbers are coming from. Instead of wasting millions paying the CEO's at Telstra and other Australian Telco's for doing nothing, they should improve their software and hardware to make their communications networks safer for their paying customers. If you get scammed but one of these lowlifes in Mumbai you should be able to sue your Telco for poor customer care. Maybe then they would make an effort to do something about this garbage that festers in their communications networks.
by Anonymous on 2023-07-14Caller: Spam Said he was from PayPal security department hahahaha
by Anonymous on 2024-08-29Caller: ScammerAnother scammer. Why is it so hard to report scam calls to Telstra?
by Anonymous on 2022-07-26Awesome 😎 must try that ploy myself.
by Anonymous on 2022-07-27Caller: "Peter"Just got off the phone from a lovely guy, "Peter" with thick Indian accent who kindly informed to me that my Telstra internet is being shared by others and has been hacked for illegal activities. He asked me to open Google to check the IP address. Unfortunately, I did not know what Google was, so he transferred me to another Indian guy for technical support. This guy was very knowledgeable and informed that my internet was being used by someone from Mount something in California and whether I knew someone there - obviously, I did not. So he asked me to go to Google or Safari - I got very scared at this and I told him so as there are lots of tigers in safari and people get eaten up there by the tigers. He assured me it was not real safari, but something called browser...At this point, I was concerned about his safety as well given he did not appreciate the dangers in safari - I pleaded with him for him not to go to safari as well because the tigers may eat him. He seemed to get frustrated for some reason and asked me to play with the tigers and then hung up. SO RUDE!!!
