by Anonymous on 2025-04-29Caller: A mobile phone company "scam"Had a missed call, called back and got told she was with a random mobile company that I've never heard of, asked her to repeat herself multiple times and each time it sounded like a different company all together! I asked her of the purpose of the call and it was that my number gets a "special" offer for a new phone and a new plan. When I asked her why I was getting this call when I'm not with them as a provider; her excuse was that my phone has been in use for a long time and that the system has my phone number?? I have no clue how that works but don't give them money, it is 10000% a scam as I could hear people talking in the background like a call centre.
