They hung up on me Trying to get me to quote an sms that was texted to me.

I said thank you so much and hung up. easy to tell a scam when the background noise on the call sounds like a family of 10 trying to have breakfast and the line is terrible. if Optus called me on a bad line like that I think I would need a new provider. Be wise out there people, stay safe.

I hung up as it felt off. It’s the 2nd time they’ve tried to contact me in a couple of months. Suspect they are trying to hack my phone or my account somehow and need the code to do it. Blocked their number.
