I don't have an ANZ credit card and this number is calling my work number every 3.5 hours. No voicemail is left.
by Anonymous on 2023-12-29Tried calling the number back and it was disconnected (minutes after they called). Didn't pick up and didn't leave a message. Based on above I don't have anything to do with ANZ - definitely a scam.
by Anonymous on 2024-02-07I have been called from this number and i do not have a credit card at all so i hung up sounds like a scam to me
by Anonymous on 2024-02-09Caller: ANZANZ. Automated but legit. Every time I'm late with a payment I get these and they stop after I'm up to date.
by Anonymous on 2024-06-19Caller: ANZThis is NOT a scan call it is ANZs Credit Card Line. Unfortunately they're using an automated service so it sounds like a scam but it's not.
by Anonymous on 2024-09-02When you go to the notification settings online the only account type you can't seem to set notifications on is for credit cards. Obviously there is a monetary benefit to ANZ when you miss your payment date.
by Anonymous on 2024-10-11Same as above. Appears to be a scam. I'd suggest that the scammers are also leaving reviews above saying its legitimate.
by Anonymous on 2024-10-29Didn't answer call but suspect it a "scammy" type of call...some others have indicated it could be ANZ, but surely they couldn't be that incompetent?
by Anonymous on 2025-06-24Caller: Scam ANZScammy ! Recorded message “this is ANZ bank, for ………, please press ??? To speak to us “. - does not show up as ANZ via Reverse Directory.
by Anonymous on 2022-04-22Caller: SCAM ANZSame message as above. Has been reported
by Anonymous on 2022-08-23Caller: Supposedly from ANZStarts with ‘this is an important message for (account holder name), please press any number to continue’. Claim to be from ANZ. Confirmed with ANZ that this is NOT their number. Spam - HANG UP on them
by Anonymous on 2023-10-05Caller: ANZ Bank Legit ANZ BANK
by Anonymous on 2025-03-31ANZ Bank confirmed that this is not an ANZ number.
by Anonymous on 2025-06-20Caller: ANZBehaviour consistent with scam practice, number may be legititmate but scammers using it to. Im a former credit card fraud officer and this is not how we work, at least the good ones dont act this way. Will keep my comments about ANZ to myself
by Anonymous on 2024-06-21Caller: ANZ This is NOT a scam, it's ANZs crappy auto voice system staying your credit card balance is overdue. It's terrible, it doesn't leave proper voice mail and always hangs up after like 3 words.
by Anonymous on 2022-12-05Caller: I think it is ANZI think it is ANZ but it asks you for details like a scammer would. ANZs practice, in these scammer times, are far from best practice. ANZ do not send reminders befiore your payment is due, unlike AMEX which sends out a reminder 1 week before. ANZ is devoid of customer focus.
by Anonymous on 2023-01-21Rings but never leaves message
by Anonymous on 2022-08-29Caller: ANZ NOT A SCAM. This is the legitimate number for ANZ credit cards, it's just a god awful robot caller to tell you your card is past due, it even tells you your name and quotes the last 4 digits of your card. It's legit, just stupid and doesn't leave a message so just crank calls you 50 times a day
by Anonymous on 2023-03-07Caller: This is SCAM ANZ phone calls "This is ANZ bank for _________ (name of bank acct holder) pls press 1..." etc -- *every 2 hrs the same number (02) 8488 4908 consistently phoned me for 2 days now. It's not ANZ!!! Pls report it or ignore the calls.

Caller: ANZLegitimate number from ANZ bank but my phone detects it as spam. At least 10 calls in the last week so I decided to answer. There was fraudulent activity from Facebook on my credit card involving 5 payments when my business Facebook account was hacked. I immediately disputed this with ANZ and they have acknowledged the fraud but I am still getting these stupid robot calls telling me I owe payment on my card which I cancelled when the fraudulent activity occurred. I have spoken to the ANZ three times. My next call will be to the banking ombudsman to stop this harassment.
