Same scenario as above for me. They rang yesterday and again today. I went along with the nonsense for awhile making up a story as I went. Including having an accident where I ran away and they insisted my children were still suffering and were entitled to compensation. I insisted on ring back and was give the name Angel Rain and Ph. (02) 8880 0454

Same as Jaam, chad at the top. tried to ask what he wanted, but the guy seemed out of it. foreign accent, possibly Indian... he didn't seem to understand what he was asking? was impossible to understand the call. I'm always curious how they get my number, as I am on the no call list.

They interrupted my work at 14:38hrs, then at 14:38hrs, before I could talk to an Indian accent chap at 16:56hrs. Sam story line about whether I had an accident. Then whether someone in my family had an accident. When asked to identify himself he said he is with an Australian law firm for accident claims. When he drew a blank from me he then thanked me and said that's all he wanted to know. Smelled scammy, sounded scammy and is definitely scammy.

by Anonymous on 2016-06-16Same story but I told them I don't have a car or have I ever had a car accident. I kept them on the phone for a while, I was mostly asking details from them. Although the accent was very hard to understand, I gathered that they call themselves Claims Line, the information was sent from Australian Survey Department and they are located on LVL30, 239 George St Sydney. I asked for their ABN number and I was referred to someone else but was never answered. The biggest load of crap I have ever heard but quite amusing talking to them

Caller claimed to be from "claims line" and asked a very vague question as to whether I had been in a car accident in the last year or two, said I was entitled to claim $15-$20000, and then asked for personal details. Caller was unable to provide a web address for "claims line" and asked again for personal details. End of conversation.

by Anonymous on 2016-09-07Same story as everyone else. Once I started to question the Indian accented male he became verbally aggressive to which I replied in kind. He hang up and called back only to hang up as soon as I answered. I tried calling the number back but could only get an engaged tone.

He couldn't pronounce my name, told me he was from a company called Claims, and asked about the accident I had a year ago, which I had not. I got angry, mostly cause I paid for the call, and told him I didn't know if he was legitimate and I was terminating this call.

by Anonymous on 2018-02-28I just had a call from this number he stated that he was calling from Australian claims stating that a car accident was recorded last year and the contact details was my address and house number when I told him that I haven't had a car accident for over 5 years he and said it was for a compensation claim and I was entitled to a lot of money which cant be disclosed over the phone so I told him to give me his name and contact details so I can call him back he stated that we are talking on the phone now so I told him im not giving any details until that happens he cal me (02) 8880 0454 and his name was danny (with an indian acsent) and hung up

this guy claims to belong to a Australian gov.agency rang me on my land line and five minutes rang me on my mobile saying an accident I had about a year ago don't you remember. the only I had was falling out of bed
