Don't care if this is a fake company posing as a Motor Accident Company, because the next time they ring I will be lettin them know i will be takin legal action & I will be also contactin scamwatch.gov.au to notify them of a fake company who are scaming people & if nothin is done after contacting scamwatch, I will be notifying the Australian Federal Police to hopefully have them jnvestigated

I told him i havent had an accident in years and hes full of sh*t. i asked which 1/3 party company he said suncorp. i told him i or anyone else ive dealt with have nothing to do with suncorp and stop wasting my time with crap phone calls.

I had a similar call on my home phone about a month ago but in that case they didn't know my name and it was regarding a crash in the last 2 years. in both cases I told them I thought they were not legit and hung up. I haven't had a crash for years.

This is the second time I've had this call so I played along and said oh the one where the other guy died. He said I hope a car backs over you and you die and hung up. Strange I thought he was going to offer me big bucks?

DONT keep talking to them as they are trying to get voice imprint from you! As the ATO and agencies are now using this technology to verify you. If they get this imprint and enough detail they will get your details changed on the system and any refunds you may get will go into a redirected bank account! SCAM SCAM SCAM

Just had a call and was prepared after looking up this site. I too had a woman with an English accent and claimed to be from the Motor Vehicle Bureau about an accident I'd had in the last 12 months. When I asked her what the purpose of her call was she said it was to provide feedback to the insurance company on how satisfied I was with the service, so I asked which insurance company? She said she didn't have that information, so when I asked her the date of said accident she repeated that it was in the last 12 months. So when I said that in Australia we didn't have a motor vehicle "Bureau" and that I hadn't had an accident so what did she really want she hung up on me!!!
