by Anonymous on 2024-10-02scammer asked for me by my full name. Said he was from an IT company in India. This call was 03 October 2024. I said I did not want to chat with him. He was abupt asking why I did not want to speak with him. I said I did not want to and hung up. Two night before on 01 Oct my Pension from Veteran Affairs account was hacked and 3 payments were made to an unidentified bank account. Someone had changed my bank details to an unknown account holder which was a NAB account somewhere in Auburn NSW. The scammer got away with almost $11,000 as he took out an advanced loan payment that I did not personally apply for! Hence I was wary of this angry caller. Cyber security blocked further transactions to the unknown Auburn NSW NAB account. Today I lost control of my personal computer - cannot log in normally as my keyboard does not work properly. This has all been a bit much - I say beware of this scammer and the telephone number, should it all be connected. To list this complaint I am using my husbands computer as it still works fine.
