Thank you for the above note. This showed up as a missed call on my phone as I have it set to bounce unknown numbers to voicemail. Of course there was no voice mail. Will now block the number.

by Anonymous on 2024-04-30Caller: Some Indian guy from visa / Mastercard Recorded message saying ANZ was calling about a transaction. Then an Indian guy got on the line and said he was from Mastercard / visa (they are separate companies) and told me I had a transaction from California. Wanted me to login and give him my IP address. Told him I would login to my work laptop and that I worked for commonwealth bank. He then tried to tell me the transaction was on my commonwealth account except he couldn’t pronounce commonwealth. Eventually he cottoned on and told me I was wasting his time !!! lol
