I had an Indian/Pakistani accent leave me a message today at 1:45pm and for the life of me could barely understand it! Something about Covid claim. I did not call back and will now block. So many scammers my phone is full of blocked numbers.

by Anonymous on 2025-04-10Seems like 13 77 88 are giving mixed messages, they told me it wasn't Service NSW. Oh, and the documents I had to submit to get my E-Toll Refief, I recieved my rebate before this call. See a comment or two above, apparently the ATO also use this number, funny that.

by Anonymous on 2023-04-24Caller: "Wendy"I had a missed call and checked the voicemail left. A woman named "Wendy" claimed to be from Service NSW. She said they had sent me an email me regarding the COVID micro business grant I received. An email came through claiming they were reviewing the grants and I needed to send through evidence (i.e. tax returns, profit and loss statements, business registration certificates etc) to see if I was still eligible for the grant. If they determined I was not eligible they would refer me to Revenue NSW. They requested I email the documents through. That was a huge red flag as Service NSW would never ask you to email personal information - it is always uploaded to their website. This scam looks very convincing. The email address even ends in service.nsw.gov.au. I presume all the comments on here claiming they are genuine are from the scammers themselves. Don't give them any personal information!

I poked a bit more and the truth came out she was calling from India and when I poked a bit more she said she was poor and needed the money. The anonymous entry here is a scammer telling everyone it’s a real number when it doesn’t exist and Service NSW says it’s bullsh*t too.

by Anonymous on 2022-06-21Fake call regarding information that application made about claim, I didn't make any claim for covid, she told me that you did, and also we have sent you money into your account and you must have received email regarding this two days ago, I didn't receive any email. I said no I did not recieve,. They are not professional service nsw staff, they are 100% scammers asking my address to verify me which I didn't give them thank god, I asked them to email me again if you have my email then I will verify its you and I will reply to that, but I did not receive any email later,, they hang up. They have diverted this number to service nsw support number and so this will make us think its real, but its not. I rang service nsw but they have no information regarding my application or old application. DOn't GIVE INFORMATION, call real support number and give them your details not to any new number. THANK ME LATER.
