Beware of 2025’s best scam artist.
by Anonymous on 2025-02-24Caller: Australian Receivables Ltd (ARL)They are in breach of ACCC guidelines with permissable contacts per week.
by Anonymous on 2025-03-12Caller: ARLACCC guidelines: "We recommend that you do not contact a debtor more than three times per week, or 10 times per month at most (when contact is actually made, as distinct from attempted contact) and only when it is necessary to do so." That being said, they breach regularly regardless.

by Anonymous on 2025-03-26Caller: (03) 9320 0118Answered phone, music playing, woman spoke and said she was from ARL? on behalf of PayPal. Wanted me to confirm personal information before she could tell me the reason for the call. Sounds like a scam.
by Anonymous on 2025-03-27After reading all other responses about this number I have had several calls and sms from ARL claiming I have a PayPal debt but when I contacted PayPal they told me my account was fine, no issues. I use it all the time. No idea why they keep contacting me. I never answer or respond.

by Anonymous on 2025-06-05Caller: ARL CollectionsSeems ARL collections has a contract with PayPal in Australia to collect on outstanding amounts on PayPal accounts. This wasn't to do with my main PayPal account, but one that i hadn't used for a few years. It had one debit from eBay for eBay plus that remained unpaid and put the account in a negative balance, the bank account that was linked was also closed. Have now linked a new account and closed off this paypal account.
by Anonymous on 2025-06-30Caller: ARLFirst sms message to say Debt Collector and acting on behalf of PayPal. Phoned today to say same thing. I checked and don't have anything outstanding or debt with PayPal.
by Anonymous on 2025-07-03Caller: (03) 9320 0118Get this missed call almost every day with no message left. Don't know who they are but I'm not answering.
by Anonymous on 2025-07-22Caller: ARL - Re PayPalI have received call after call and text messages saying I owe money to PayPal. Logged into PayPal and owe nothing. I contacted PayPal and it urns out that someone has tried opening a business PayPal account in my name and ARL are trying to get to the bottom of it. I would suggest calling PayPal Directly and find out what’s going on.
by Anonymous on 2025-08-04Caller: Someone PayPal go through apparentlySaid they were associated with PayPal. But when I called PayPal, there was no issue

by Anonymous on 2025-02-07Caller: Credit CorpCredit Corp - They cannot contact or attempt to contact you More than seven times within a seven-day period, this is law. Take screen dumps of the calls and email to yourself, keep in a folder. Cantact a law authority if they breech that
by Anonymous on 2025-02-05Caller: ARLI answered the phone and was told ARL ON BEHALF OF PAYPAL so I immediately threatened to murder their entire family and make them watch if they called me again, in rhe very least I hope it ruined their day. Thanks "diversity"
by Anonymous on 2025-06-24Caller: I don't knowThis number has been calling every few days consistently for the past two months. No voicemail left. When I did answer the call, was met with hold music for a minute, and then someone named me and refused to give any information about the reason for their call except for needing to "discuss an important business matter". I did not confirm my name, as they repeatedly asked if they were speaking to *my name*. Do not answer this number, likely phishing for information.
