This is a blatant scam call to gather information and con people into thinking additional steps are required for the bill relief.

by Anonymous on 2024-07-03Caller: Dodgy female scammer with an ac centCaller claiming to be from synergy energy and told me I can google the company as real ( synergy is a real listed company in Australia but don't be fooled by these people) this woman told me I was owed a $6482 refund and wanted to proceed with getting the funds back to me. I called her out and told her to be a better person, she told me to google the company and I told her I am aware of the real synergy company but I am and never have been a customer and this was an obvious scam. She then asked if I owned my house I told her no and she hung up on me... Stay aware out there guys these scammer trash bags are relentless!

Be careful, the person on the phone has a strong aussie accent and claims to work with the local government so you might think it’s legit but they are definitely scammers!

When I told her that I had solar power and was in credit, she wanted to send someone out to evaluate my system and offer me a better deal. I told her I wasn't interested and terminated the call. I suspect it was a scam.
